How come the default 737-800 isn’t showing up in fsx?

After a while of installing addons for fsx, I’ve noticed that on the aircraft menu the default 738 isn’t showing up. I checked the simobjects file and it’s there, I was just wondering if it was hiding or if I needed to reinstall fsx.

  Add-ons, as the name implies, only add things—they don’t generally delete the default aircraft. Are you sure it was there before? Be sure to look at the entire list.

  sometimes, if you add textures incorrectly to existing aircraft on Flight Simulator X, it causes the whole airplane to disappear from the “Select Aircraft” Window.. i am not sure why, but it does happen
