Record from Propellerhead Software
PropellerheadSW asked:
www.recordyou.com Welcome to Record, Propellerhead Software’s brand new recording software. Record gives you unlimited hard disk tracks, world class effects and mixing gear, and a whole new take on music recording. With an intuitive, straightforward interface and a hands-on approach to capturing performances, Record was designed for musicians – not audio engineers. This is recording done right.
I think because you are a sheep…

I think pretty much
February 28th, 2010 at 11:26 pmI think Haha, that band is cool and funny. They did a good job with this video, I’m glad I finished watching it. Record looks really good, I can’t wait to get my copy. It seems worth it and that’s a free plug for Propellerhead.
March 1st, 2010 at 7:08 pmfor anyone that’s used Record: is the quality of the “realtime stretch” REALLY as amazing as it sounds in this vid!?
March 1st, 2010 at 8:59 pmI think The vid is funny as hell…I was just saying earlier that Record looks awesome and sounds great, but it doesn’t come with ALL of the Line 6 amps and effects UNLESS you have a Line 6 hardware interface…SO is it worth $250 for those without Reason? I would pay $150….The mixer is the main draw for me.
March 2nd, 2010 at 8:53 pmMy friend has Logic. It sounds great and well-balanced, but the user interface seems kind of…uninspiring.
March 3rd, 2010 at 7:02 pmcan i record guitar right onto my reason tracks with this??
March 4th, 2010 at 7:33 amI gotta try this .
March 7th, 2010 at 7:21 pmmaybe itl help getting guitar onto my reason easier
I think I’ve used this, sonar 7 and logic. If you already own Reason then Record is really good especially if you’re used to conventional analogue studios but the mixer page is fatiguing to look at and if your eyesight isn’t great it’s easy to “lose” your cursor but it’s still a great bit of kit. I’m probably alone in this but I really don’t like logic even though it’s very stable. Sonar (if you can get it stable) is my personal favourite. If Sonar switches to Mac I think it will be tremendous.
March 9th, 2010 at 8:15 amSOOOO SICK!!!
March 10th, 2010 at 12:03 pmI was gunna buy this but im thinkin… maybe its best if i just wait till Record 2 comes out, itl have more features

March 16th, 2010 at 7:27 amI think via a mic/mixer/guitar line input/etcetc
March 16th, 2010 at 10:23 amall i can really say is, ABOUT TIME!! imagine bringing out music software products for god know how long with no record ability till 2009 lol
March 18th, 2010 at 10:41 amit looks like a suped up garageband or logic express lol
March 18th, 2010 at 3:30 pmI think I had hoped it would be a complete package with Reason 4′s instruments. Oh well. Now we to spend money for BOTH Record and Reason to enjoy the full convenience of a versatile DAW – which Logic already offers – and then more money on mastering software (Protools/Cubase) just to engineer the mix since the software is, as stated, ‘designed for musicians – not audio engineers’.
I hate you Propellerhead. Signed, Sad Reason User.
March 19th, 2010 at 4:10 amI feel that these should be things that are essential to this product. It’s got a nice mixer and the audio stretching abilities are fantastic but you should be able to do more with audio that this. Its still too limited.
March 21st, 2010 at 3:30 pmI think Tried demo. It doesn’t have the ability to import MP3′s. I would have expected it to import all manner of audio formats considering the promoting of it being a professional audio editing software. I also tried to import WAV files that were converted from other audio formats from OJOsoft Audio converter and it still wouldn’t load into Record. I had to import and then export out of FL Studio just to get the audio to load in Record. Editing is clunky and doesn’t have fast work flow.
March 22nd, 2010 at 6:58 amI think can you reqire reason to this so you can record vocals to your computer tracks aswell as live instruments
