Firefox had been running slow lately, very slow. It took about 15 seconds just to start. I got so sick of it that i tried it in safe-mode and it worked perfectly! Now that i know it was one my addons, what do i do? I have a lot… Is there some program or way i can determine which one is slowing me down?

Why do I get an error while trying to enable/disable addons for internet explorer?

Ok, here’s the situation. My cousin has a computer that was given to him. He already had a connection running from the router in the kitchen to his room, with his roommate’s pc in the kitchen right beside the router. Not sure if this an actual network as they are not connected by a server.

But anyway, they have Verizon DSL. He had the Verizon dsl software installed on his old computer, but the cd(s) ended up getting lost. Well, we got the new computer hooked up to the dsl connection in the apartment (typing on it right now) without using the Verizon DSL software cd(s), and he also has Avast anti-virus installed on his computer.

But does he actually need to install any Verizon dsl software or any other software for the modem/router the connection is coming through? And if so, is there any way of getting the software short of calling Verizon or the router manufacturer for more cd’s? Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hey,
Does anyone know of any free addons which will enable text documents in Microsoft word 2007 to be read out aloud?

I know that in the Opera web browser you can download a free plugin which will read out the text that is on webpages, is there anyway in which to do this in word?

I am running windows Vista and use Office Ultimate 2007

I am trying to make a photo slideshow for my friends wedding and need to download or get a software program where I can do that. I need one that lets me create slideshows, along with editing and adding titles,transitions,music,imaging to my pictures for the slideshow. I have a mac and its really hard I havent found the perfect software yet!
